this is a special thank you to everyone who has sent their best wishes north for Tim who crashed at the NT Titles last Saturday.

Tim's wife has been hesitant to take the offered funds from well wishers - she knows how hard we work for our money - however the bills have been rolling in and she is finding it tough with the 3 kids, travel etc. Should anyone like to contribute please pm me. She thinks your all angels and heartfeltly thanks you all for the comfort of your good wishes.

Update
Tim is currently in surgery - they said it will take about 5hrs to fix his arm and another 3 hours to set the 3 brakes in his jaw. There is a question regarding permanent brain impairment and we are praying that he will be ok.

Tim is heading in for surgery on his wrist today. Still in icu.

I visited him last night and he is showing all signs of understanding and trying to communicate despite his jaw wired and tubes everywhere. Which indicates no brain damage Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile huge relief to us all.

Both his daughters won their races yesterday and his son managed a 4th placing so that nearly made him smile - bit hard with all the swelling.

His family appreciates all the well wishers and thanks you.

I would like to thank everybody for there concern. After 8 weeks and many operations I am still in hostipal and will be for some time. Considering all my injuries I am doing well. My pelvis has healed from the 3 breaks and I am starting to walk again. My 6 broken ribs have healed anb my right lung is all good after colasping more tracie either just a hole in my throat that is slowly closing. Right arm is still a mess as I have desroyed my shoulder and elbow which will require reconstructions and both nerves have been crushed and have no use of my right hand also have 2 large plates in the arm. Destroyed my right scapler and colar bone. My face is healing cant chew or open my mouth to far due to my injuries. The right side of my face is numb and the nerves are damaged effecting my right eye and I have to wear a eye patch to be able to see. I also have speech problems due to the brain injury. But my cracked schull has healed. My left rist has got a plate in it but I can now use it okay for small things. Over all I feel good and are doing well to the point that the Doctors are letting me go and watch my daughter and Joe Byrd race in Darwin. At this stage I wont be able to get back on a bike which is a shame but I will stay involed and thank you again for all your support during this time.

nah close though he overshot the first corner at our local track and landed in the pile of crap behind rocks (big ones), a ditch an whatever else hangs outside a motox track the berm is about 10-15ft high at the point were he took off in other words it was a mighty big crash landing
