The QRCV's annual sandfest will be on again this year over the Melb Cup Weekend (31st Oct - 4th Nov) at the dunes near Kingston in S.A . all enquiries should go to Geoff Hamilton 0428 337 076 (you'll have to ring him cos he doesn't use the net) bookings are essential.

This event is run under an MA Recreational Permit so your quad needs to comply with MA regs (i.e. nerf bars, kill switch) and quads will be scrutineered by the officials at the event, it also means you need to have an and don't forget you'll also need to be a member of the QRCV.

Sounds great Pete, I hope we can get some good numbers to support this
LEGAL ride. We know that there are plenty of people that enjoy recreational riding and if we could just get these people to maybe join the
club then and only then will the club be able to make an organized effort to grow and develop rec. riding. Lets hope for a great event.
Cheers Dean.

hey it was still legal.....

you wanna try running some social events for us then Yogie? Given that the guys doing all the work for the social events at the moment are mostly also associated with racing it makes any of these events hard to get up.

Well people, hence my reason for joining the commitee and taking on helping organising social rides in the future.
Geoff and I are under going training next year to be able to issue MA license things for these rides overselves so the social organisers of the club can organise the social rides.
Racers not needed...HA HA
And anyone that has not been impressed with the club before - please give us (me) another go.. I am trying to change things one meeting at a time laughing Wink

If guys committed to stump hill name 'em but as far as I'm aware there were no members confirmed to go the event.
As far as sand fest goes if you want to play childish tit for tat that's ok but pm me so I can get the mailing address for the $2.00 THE PHONE CALL WOULD HAVE COST

I don`t have an excuse for Stump Hill I went! There is no tit for tat over Sandfest I didn`t go, but if you want to make a difference join the committee and have some input into the social events .
