Hi Guys and Gals
I would love to see a pic of your 4x4 or utility quad how about you guys post a pic on here so we can all see it, i think we are sort of left for dead sometimes cos maybe some see utility Quads as being only for the farm..
So how about a pic and maybe a few words with what sort of riding and use you use ya bike for and hey cmon it does not matter what it looks like so long as you enjoy yourself.

I use a product called aerospace 303 protectant it is a non silicon based uv protectant for plastics and leather and vinyls , it does not attract dust and really makes the bike shine , i think u can get it from autobarn stores , have a search on google, i have been using this product for over 2 years and its fantastic.
And the last pic is from not long after i bought the grizzly

Hey Grizzly you got yourself a top looking quad there It's kept in top notch condition. Speaking about chemicals, I use a silicon that I spray on after I've washed it, called Easy Sheen, from a business called AutoSmart. I buy it in 20Ltr containers for about $60:00. I find it stops the crap sticking to the quad, as well as preventing rust, and gives it the new look after washing I can't help but notice in the last pic that you use that quad to it's full potential |

The bike has done over 17,000 klm still trouble free , touch wood , i bought it second hand , it came off a farm and had to be cleaned up but was maintained by a dealer mechanicaly for services
But i would have to say the spray ii used has been the biggest help in recoloring the plastics.
It has Elka Shocks up front , 3500lb full remote winch , Highlifter A arm protecters and full length bash plates made from 6 mm aluminium, Itp rims and tyres, Billet exhaust tip .
Other than that it is standard _________________ 2012 Can am Outlander Xt 1000cc

The Udy-mobile does have you somewhat for newness, when were doing a working bee down at Foss's well have to brillo pad and some steel-o on ya can.
Anyway I thought you made a post about riding the 700 with pwr steering over the Renegades Visco-lok? Was that the point?
You can see a few white bend marks from a few knocks but there isnt a cratch in site and like you say. Its a working bike!
Foss's diggin a pit toilet? Bags not being last one in the hole! |

Can do the same with lexan or clear plastic if you're carefull enough not to overheat it so it boils! And that will remove slight scratches permanently, you'll see from practice which ones you can get completely out and what you can just work on the edges of.
We used to do it and the engineering firm I worked at. |

That's exactly right Grizzly that's why I brought the Outty, for the missus and kids. All you do is pop on the seat and lets go riding. When the missus had her quad she only got it to fourth gear once or twice bit of a waste of money don't you think Oh well I look at it as a learning experince |

You got a data logger on that to prove it Rossco Or do they come with a bloody trip computer now!
I'm not sure if it was you I was commenting to Grizz that yamaha have a tight enough technical package I think to get rid of the racks pop on a hot body kit , an factory performace upgrade and they could go open class enduro.
In fact heres one Istarted to build up for ya. Sorry that should have read break down!
http://www.manheimfowles.com.au/find_buy/power_search/?unit_key=84752_AU602329147-84752;detail_tab=vinfo;tab=vehicle_type_desc;stream=Recreation;selall=1;state_all=1;model_all=1;p=2;rm=view_detail
I know there is probably privateers doing it already, actually since they carry racks theres the possibility theres some load bearing members you could cut out as well but I should credit their design team with minimising that weight gain already.
So many idea's.... will honda up the open class stakes? Will Yam retire the raptor for a new concept like Can -Am? The market is so prolific in the US that concepts become production bikes in 12 months.
Luv it. Lets start an Aussie one. Oh thats right isnt Odes an Aussie one??

Hey guy's talking about concepts, I see Artic Cat is coming out with a 150cc quad. This quad is designed for the kids that are to big for a 90cc but are to small to handle a full size quad Mate these guy's think of every angle. Check out Inside Powersports at atvmagonline.com for more info. |

Looks fabulous all scrubbed up compared to some of the trail pics!
Tell me have you ever ridden an IRS 4x4 for comparison?
Its gotta be a bit more plush or is it just all down to springs, dampening and rebound or ride type? _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

Rossco are you saying that you have learnt you may as well give the bike to someone who's willing to give it a bit of curry??
Not that Im claiming to be the person capable of doing that??
Now having said that I did manage to go for a ride last weekend as I visited my mates sheep station. Its a new Honda 430ag 2x4. Problem is its a new Honda ag 430 2x4!! Best I could do for "trail riding" was a few dam banks but some of them were challenging?
Thing was it proved I could ride all day with moderate breaks (say 5 hours all up) without killing myself, so the requirements pan out on CVT side.
Now wonder what a quad would look like fitted with a Goldwing passanger seat in the drivers position? _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs
