Actually it would be interesting to know. I'll have to play with Google for awhile to find out. _________________ Don't close your eyes during the crash, you'll miss the best part |

They had one a couple of years back in that mountain race in NZ. I think it is called "the race to the clouds". I might be wrong there. But it had a souped up Hyabussa engine & foils front & back to make it stick to the road. I forget the top speed but it was fast. Probably as fast as a KFX700 _________________ 06 LTZ400

A bloke from Tassie who raced at the Finke last year reckoned he had his Banshee up to 160 beside a bike that was wound out on a dirt road. He reckoned it had another 20 k in it. This was in Tassie & not the Finke
Anyone been faster? _________________ 06 LTZ400

officially, 129 km on the raptor, according to the vapor speedo that wa measured at a km for accuracy.
On gravel i wouldn't want to go faster..
P.s, youngy's kawa 700 passes me like I am standing still at 90, so he must pull a bit more than the raptors top speed.
Let's not get into arguments about gearing and crap, stick to standard stuff, then let's talk about who gets from 0 to 60 the quickest... _________________ Andrew |

I didnt know the KFX700 have a good top speed, got used to looking back at em when i raced a couple with my old bomber.
Never raced a rap700, would like to see that
Anyone has official digits.
Modified or stock, it doesnt matter. _________________ "Curiosity killed the cat". Ok my dog did but dont tell my neighbour. |

| I think Matt Coulter holds the record for the fastest Quad. Set on an airstrip in England. He also was pillion when a guy set the record for fastest Blind person on a quad. Not sure of speed think about 140mph on a Banshee with a worked RG 500 motor. (very cool quad) |
