Anyone go up to black duck valley very often? I have been up about a million times on my KX450 but only the last 2 weekends have I gone up on the raptor. Had a ball on the moto x track (the one with the 80 footer where the gazebo is). But geez I am sore. Was getting about half way across the 80 but wasn't sure about trying to clear it. Has anyone done it??

Heaps of guys hit the 80fter. A few hit the 100fter on track 1. I get around there a bit with friends and occassionally with Dad and my Brothers, they are all on bikes so always good to see a quad or 2 out there. Smile

I can clear the 80 on my KX450, but does anyone do it on their quads?

Maybe be in for Roma, depends on work as usual. So tell me, when jumping on a quad, does it control like an MX bike? When you hit the rear brake, does it bring the fron t down, and when you accelerate does it lift the front? I haven't had to correct on any jumps yet, but in case I do, would like to know what is done to move the quad.

Yeh all that stuff is similar. But you gota remember the side to side movement aswell. Just take it slow and you will catch on, its not that hard. Smile

Save up for a half decent aftermarket swingarm if you plan to keep on jumping.
I broke Dads banshee swinger doing that jump and since then we have gone thrue another 2 swingarms. In the long run it would have been cheaper to go aftermarket first time round. Rolling Eyes
