you should be able to connect the red wire to the positive wire on the back of the key switch. you would just need a mutlimeter and you just check on what wire has got power going to it when you have the key on and then make sure it has no power going to it when the key is off. a hour meter dont draw that much current so it wont affect anything but when you find the correct wire put a inline fuse on it so if you have any issues it will blow the fuse not somthing on the bike.or you can go to a yamaha shop and buy a yamaha hour metre that only has one wire and that wraps around your spark plug lead and sticks inside the little area were your tool kit is. thats what i got on my bike. it cost $100. and when the bike is running its a tacho to hope this helps you?? _________________ Sponsors ,Cullys Yamaha,Pirtek Malaga

My F!CKING stupid dealership mounted it to
the frame of the F!CKING bike, it vibrated to
pieces. And they wouldn't wear it so i had to
fork out another $150 for a new one. _________________ <RIZ> |
