Rider hurt at Black Duck Valley off-road park

A motorbike rider suffered head and suspected spinal injuries in an accident at the Black Duck Valley off-road park near Gatton, in southern Queensland, late yesterday morning.
The rider was flown by helicopter to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Police say they are not notified of accidents at Black Duck Valley off-road park unless they are fatal, because it is not a public road.
The state coroner has called for an expert's report into the safety of the facility, after three deaths in two-and-a-half years.

i heard that he didnt make it!
riding around mt lousia off drample rd (near greenview there)
(close to where me an my mates ride!)
heard he was hitting a jump in 4th pinned
and lost it with front right wheel hitting first then the usually tumble...
messed up tho i havent heard anything since like monday!
it happened on sunday... hope i heard wrong! |
