We have had the bike a few days but without the Cherry Bomb. The Cherry bomb arrived today, installed it along with the spark arrester removal and air box lid removal.
I cant believe the difference these simple mods make. I had intentions of doing before and after dyno readings this afternoon but the dyno was busy. Hopefully I can get on the dyno on Monday afternoon...I will post results here.
I went for blast this afternoon...OMG this bike hauls arse and handles so good. I have ridden all sport quads and this bike is on a another level. Im no pro rider but I cant tell this bike is an absolute weapon.

Well I've had nearly a week on mine now and I agree with the above post for a stock quad this thing is fast. I am now lapping on my local track quicker than Nicole's quad and it is a YFZ with Axle, A-Arms, Elkas, Pipe and ignition. the following is a run down on the good and bad.
Good:
Front shocks they are amazing so plush yet so firm
Width no need to make it any wider
Ergo's it's so roomy you can hang off the side of it without crushing the rear guards, the stem has a good angle and great hight so you can ride on the peg when rough.
Brakes work fantastic steel braid right to the end of the a-arms
Engine good bottom end but signs off a little early but it's so smooth and deceptvly fast. You will be going around a corner and thinking this thing is struggling a bit but then you hit an up ramp and you just don't relize how fast your going untill you over shoot the down ramp by a mile.
Pipe just pull the Baffel out and you have a straight through pipe with a core, not just a tin can like the Yammi and the Honda
Seat Looks weird but it's the best seat i've ever felt especily when off the side of the bike going through a rough corner
Bad:
Rear shock this puppy need some work way to soft out of the box has lots of potential I have upped the high and low speed compresion and speed the rebound up. Got it going good now but need a revalve for me (95kg's)
Gear shift lever is the worst thing on the bike too short for my big feet and it need to be lifted half a spline but you can't do that
Bars steels hangers are crap the dirt bike guys get alloy ones now why can't we
Tires at first i thought they were great but my rear one are already stuffed and arn't much chop on hard pack, But they would be my pick in loamy soil.
Reflectors look awful what the hell are they on the bike for
Engine not that it's bad just needs a little more up top but i'm used to a bike with motor work
I do have some support from Suzuki this year but the above is my honest opinion of the new Suzuki LT-R Quad Racer |

RRP is 11,990, Pretty good price for an out of the box race quad.
Like Smitty said it needs some engine work to get it up to speed, againts the other pro class quads it struggles a bit off the line. doesn't seem to need anything more for the prod. class though. It would also benifit greatly from having a decent bumper to deflect a bit of roost from the radiator, the rad guard clogs up pretty easily. _________________

I got my new LTR450 last week with my first ride at Peake dunes. After stepping off a banshee, this thing is awesome. Fitted the cherry bomb straight up, makes a huge difference.
Learnt that AC Racing Predator nerfs almost bolt straight up, with just some minor tweaking in the vice (3-5mm to bolt up to foot peg). To save others from hunting to find the coil wire to connect the tether kill switch up to, its the white wire you can find on the right hand side just below the petrol tank. _________________ Proud Member of QuadridersSA
