Welcome to the forum Big Mack. As Tas says, the raptor is a great all purpose bike which will suit all types of riding straight out of the box, and is comfortable enough to be able to ride all day. They are easy to mod and you can get them up over 50HP with about $1500 worth of bolt ons. If you are looking at riding mx then one of the 450s is the way to go. They will definitely keep up with the mate's 660 and you will out jump him by a mile on the track. _________________ I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying it!!! |

Have to agree with you there stock, went riding last weekend with 3 banshee's, was eating dust all day.
BUT
At the end of the day all the raptor needed was a wash and the Banshee's were licking their wounds and nearly didn't make it back to the vehicles, These banshee's were in good shape when they left.... and their 2 tanks of fuel to my 3/4 of one..
horses for coarse but I will stick to my Raptor... _________________ Andrew |

hey mate, hard to fault the 700's, great bike, lotsa power/torque, depends on whaere you riding, if its big trail rides id brob go for the 700 again. but if you are thinking about spending ANY time on a track go for a 450 from any of the brands, particurly the LTR450.
If you want a bike that is a sack of spuds to ride but goes like the clappers then the banshees for you |

Yer I must admit the fuel aspect of the banshee sucks dogs balls bad, its the only thing that really disappoints me about em, costs $40 for fuel and mix for 1 day riding pretty much...Not good...But 3 grand cheaper brand new and power band oh have ya felt the "power band"!!!hehe kinda makes it all worth while, each to there own, good luck finding the 1 that suits you _________________ "Its Only A Flesh Wound !!!"

Who said going as FAST as a Banshee does is cheap???
What we spend in fuel & oil all the others spend in mods trying to faster than a BANSHEE _________________ RAPTOR 660:

Go a 450. Shitloads of fun and plenty of grunt.
Also handle brilliantly. _________________ <RIZ> |
