A mate of mine is thinking of getting a 07' 700 raptor he is not into racing its just for a allround bike trails and dunes. Anything bad about the raptor? And are they a good buy?

Raptors have more ground clearance,more torque & revearse.R heavier & less 'racy' than the 450s.Injection should be good.Check out www.raptorforum.com _________________ Cheers-Redted. 04 Raptor |

torque IS good, power on demand, just punch it and it goes.
yfz is good aswell, alot revier power, bit of work on both and you have yourself 2 excellent bikes, really depends on the persons riding style, weight, height etc, i'm 6'6'' and the raptor suits me perfectly i think.
ground clearance is negligable though as they are the same on the rear end, and there isnt much in it on the front.
in my opinion:
700 for trail/recreation
450 race/dunes etc |
