Hi guys, please dont slam me! I see you are all riding slick jets.. so take it easy on me.. it cost $300 and has a better alarm than my Jeep!
I just bought a new (secongd hand) Quad / ATV for my daughter.
Its a 4 stroke 110cc Chinese machine and its seems fine for her.
Does anybody have an owners or service manual for this bike?
There are a few little wierd things going on in the electrical system ie; wont start with the start button on the handle bars but starts fine from the remote start..

Also, other than out running the cops (which I have taught her to do) anybody got any Melbourne tracks that younger kids can spin at?

Thanks guys..

The first thing you do is have that fancy alarm removed it will cause you much grief (i know from experience)a bike shop near me charges $40 to remove it but im in adelaide am sure some of the guys on here will help you out
Make sure you retighten all bolts after being ridden for a while and keep the oil up to it Tappets have a tendency to close up
the quads are not that bad my son raced one (in pic on profile) and has been quite competitive it was a good starting quad but if raced needs to be maintained regularly
NOW ON HONDA TRX90

Yeah Thanks.. thats the kinda info I am after but anybody who knows which cables to pull to bypass the alarm would be helpfull.
They seem to be a little over engineered in the electrical department
for my liking.
A little worried that it doesnt have a kick or pull start.. Ill deal with that when more of the electrical system dies.

Hi, No bad havin a chinka 110cc quad, Gotta start somewhere, if it suits ya needs and $$$...go for it,

Yes to all the above, plus locktite whatever you can and spring washers, the nuts and bolts on them aren’t that great and you have to check everything (wheels included) as the will rattle loose,

Will save you time and money

Thanks, yeah.. Im off to Bunnings to get some Loktite, Araldyte, Superglue and some Blu Tack for good measure.
Pulled the whole things to bits and traced the wiring.. its now rockin.
Does anybody have any idea if these things have alternators? Does it charge its battery?
I figure at $300 if it falls apart I might take it to a Quad track and set fire to it for the boys.
(I have a bag of Marshmellows for the first dude to back flip over it!)

My nephew had one, and the engine was bullet proof,

As long as your daughter has fun, that’s all that counts!!!

thats true fun is the most important thing
i found the chinka quad a good starting quad if they can learn to handle 1 of them it makes them appreciate a good quad when they get one
my son couldnt believe the difference in handling on his trx90 it sticks like glue compered to the cheap quads

Here's something funny.
Turns out that these bikes wont start of the handle bar starter unless
you have the break on.. When I was working on the bike I had the hand break on, so it worked.. If only I had the manual! Haha..

If ya really want to fix it up, i must admit i did own 1 also, ya have to go through the whole bike and reconnect all the electric connections as most of mine yer in the right connections but were not clipped in properly causing funny stuff to happen, and same thing happened on mine the alarm takes over and nothing on the handle bars for the start stop works anymore spent hours trying to fix it but to no avail i ended up just disconnecting the alarm siring under the lights so it didn't make a noise any time but still had to use the remote to start stop or stall it..lol
