Yeh, I rolled my shee today Crying or Very sad fortunatly I'm alright, Unfortunatly my handlebar are buggered. I came around a corner to fast and it bit in and tossed me. Dingo was there haha.

anyways to the point.

I might be in the market for some new handlebars. I don't care what they are, if someone would like to donate me some stock shee bars that would be great. I just txt my old man to see if his got a spare set but if he dosnt can someone help a brother out? I'll take some pics of the damage soon, after a couple of beers to settle my nerves laughing

PERSONAL DAMAGE: I took some skin off my knees and my hands really sore. Also I banged my head when I landed does that mean I'm in the market for a new helmet aswell?

EDIT: pics

The bars

Younge and indestructible

If they fit on my bike I'll take em. Well after I find out if I have a set somewhere around the house or not. My parents are on hollidays, I think there at the gem fields at the moment so theres no phone reception. I know my old man has a set (for his bike) but he has a whole heap of spare parts so there might be bars somewhere in the shed.

I just put tea tree oil on my knee, pain dosnt even describe how that went down lol.

Ferret reckons I was doing some crazy ass sh!t, that was the best superman comin of a banshee I've ever seen. I bet his eyes where like this eek My sympathies to ya, I think what you did happens to every quad rider in the start !! I know I did it a few times of my shee !!! I seen you hit the ground and for good insurance I would say ditch the helmet. They might not look that bad from the outside but the foam inside could be fully compressed and not offer as much protection next time

Riding dosn't even come near to what u were doin, the word death wish comes to mind? You have only been riding quads for 2 years yes? Damn u must learn quick haha.

Also when I get my bars fixes (hopefully sometime this week) we got to get down to the ol track and rip it up a bit. Have u guys got irrigation down there now? I remember thats was the last thing the boys from QR were working on befor they gave it up

Hay dude ... sorry you bent your quad ... never a nice thing!! But it is always inevitable that we will fall!!

Glad you OK!!!

Best practice would say yes ... but it all depends on how hard you hit you head, and how good your helmet is.

If you know someone, best thing to do it get it x-rayed!!

If you think you hit it hard, then replace it. If you not too sure, then replace it.

Better to be outta pocket a few $$$ than fall again and crack your head ... eek

Hey Ferret

Good work - only one way to find your limits.
I had a warrior that wound up in similar shape - had to put more air in one front tyre and ride left hand corners wherever I could to overcome the bent frame crab walk.

Go Hard Son!
