Im having problems with my FI light staying on.Bike will still run . has any one had any thing like this .

Hi tim I had a similar problem and we traced it back to the connector at the bottom of the ECU but my bike was cutting out aswell

Thanks for that smitty i will give that a go.It is an 06 with 470 kit, pipe vortex air filter things like that Linc.

I think I may have read it wrong.......vortex air filter.

You mean a Vortex ECU box????? and a Filter?????......

If so, I think you program those with the screws and the setting wont be lost if you disconnect the battery.

So.....disconnect the battery, make sure all connections for the cherry bomb and the vortex are OK.....I have heard of a problem with them being grounded poorly.

Nearly all electrical problems I have heard of on the LTR have been connections rather than actual faults.

Try that see how it goes. If it doesn't work we may have to consult the manual for the codes.

yer sorry about that sould have put one of these things ,,,,, yer.I have the work shop manal and it dose not say anthing about the light just stay on .
