HI EVERYONE I OWN A BANSHEE AN IT LIKE TO JAM THE THROTTLE OPEN ON ITS OWN A CORD WHY .ANYONE KNOW WHY IT WOULD DO THIS IT ONLY DOES IT SOMETIMES? Confused

is it the THROTTLE or
pree ignition

does it stick when its off
have a look at your plugs.

It seems to be a pretty comon problem with banshees, specially when the tors are removed. I believe tht it is the carby slide sticking. I was told that it is the coating around the slide that causes it to stick, particually when around water. I was also told that you can get an after market slide that will fix this. I never got around to trying it though!

thanks for the reply ,but my tors r still on an there was no water when this has happen but where can i find out about the after market slides to fixs this .

hey banshee172 why ask for a solution to this problem when your bike is in my workshop to get the problem fixed ?????????
i'm pretty sure the problem is the same as nathan's in that it's the cable binding where it goes into the splitter
plus the cable is also pulled tight from when you did the steer stem the other week which doesn't allow any grace when some freeplay is necessary for the slides to return to the idle position
i'll be fixing it tomorrow
give me a break

hi guys my throttle is all fixed big thanks to kev like he said it was that much dirt in the cable with a kink in it as well its all go now an my elkas hav arrived yippee ....
