Talk to a few transport companies. If it can be taken to the transport yard in sydney, then there is no reason it wont be able to be done. Speak to a few a places up in your neck of the woods to see if they have trucks coming from sydney. You might even try Queensland Rail and QRX.

Empty all the fuel, oil and coolant. Tie it to a pallet so it can be picked up by a forklift, then any of the freight companies will pick up and deliver interstate. Brought a trike up to Newcastle from Melbourne on Startrack Express. It cost $80, but we do have an account at work. Be carefull of protruding items like handle bars etc, suggest taking them off and securing them out of the way

I had mine transported from Darwin to Adelaide by road and was about $200ish from memory didnt have to do any preparation just dropped it off and picked it up was sent by NTFS Transport.

some good info there guys, thanx, but looks like im jumping in the ute and heading down to sydney this weekend to pick it up...

if anyone needs anything transported along the way let me know before saturday and ill see if i can do it for ya!
