Ok Peoples ,Its not set in Concrete,They missed the sup regs for quads ,so we will pick another date! but if we can get enough numbers,Quads can be part of this first round.Please let me know if you are keen and we will try to get Quads in the sup regs.I recommend if you can support this event that we do !It is rumoured NBN channel 3 is keen to televise this event in Tamworth ,Great for the sport if we support!
Let Me know definate numbers by the end of this week 30th June 2006

MX,Sunday,not sure about other series,As many as possible! I would suggest 10 at least

you cant buy one day licenses at races. you need to get a full licence.

Licensing chapter 3.3 in you manual of motorcycle sport

3.3.1.4 Competition licences are divided into the following categories and must be endorsed

a) junior one meeting
b) junior club
c) junior national
d) senior one meeting
e) senior club
f) national
g) FIM prize event
i) world championship

I'm in belief that endorsed by inclusion in supplimentry regulations of that spacific event, that a one meeting licence is obtainable.

Correct me if I'am wrong as this is how i'v interpretive the rules on competition licensing..

Brand New 2006 TRX 450RE with CRF piston,my port job and HRC kit (Standard Suspension)Just pick it up on the way through! Pay all damages applys(on damage only ,if Engine ,gearbox.. goes no prob I would fix that!)

If you come on the Sunday 9th to stockton, maybe we organise a MA license day and get some of these Quad riders licensed, and maybe hit them up for Members for your club to help promote us ?

Len....Sick machine it should do hahaha....And I agree with the pay for all damages rule....

Have you given any thought to approuch these clubs and run a non competitive event at there meetings ...just a thought.

1) in a non competitive event a single use recreational license or full recreational licencse could be used and is much cheaper to attract riders to the sport especialy as like my self have very little race exsperience.

2) It would help the guys out there that dont have that bad ass race bike and would feel more comfortable riding a stocko and not have to be bothered or imbarist about being lapped.

I feel we need to offer riders in NSW more than a ticket to MA .
1)Cuzo what does your club offer Quad Members if they Join?
2)Race meetings and social meetings to cater for all disaplins?
3)Social meetings at Stockton?
4)A place to meet Bi monthly-or monthly at a central location like Gosford (1 hour aproximatley from each direction so all members may attend ? )
5)A web site for interactive NSW based forums?
6)Is your club a Non profit Commitee organisation with a President,Vice President,Tresurer ,Secretary...or a business?
I would like to know some of these questions before I would join at this stage.
What ever or however it happens we need be reading off the same page !Todd O'Leary,Paul Worths,Adrian Mohrs clan all join the same movement so we may have the opportunity of 30 or more consistant racers to move this sport forward,dont you think?
We need more than a club to join we need to work as one with a plan,then to Action the plan. I suggest we survey what the people want ,then move toward that goal .Going by past and Guessing what people want is fruitless and will result in division and poor numbers.
As mentioned before lets get together and discuss it at a round table meeting and work out what is really needed and put it to a vote ,I have a Questionaire that may help find out the wants and needs of the Quad people in NSW.
What do you think?Cuso if you can cater for all above it would certainly save us a lot of organisation , just not sure if what you currently offer is what the Quad movement in NSW really needs right now to get it going unless your ride park goes off soon ?

Good Plan... I fully agree and when we get enough numbers,classes of rider and or Quad performance should be divided.
I have also approched Central Coast dirt riders Club and have been invited to attend a meeting at Wyong in August to discuss Quads for one of thier events. A timed Loop enduro style of racing ,that is against the clock with 15 to 30 second intervals between riders,sounds real good ,will keep you all posted on the Tamworth and Central Coast scenario,still early days for both with no promises at this stage.
Barleigh ranch may very well be our next race meeting with Stockton the social venue on the 9th of July.Be good for all of us to catch up on the 9th,It may be a good opportunity to hand out a survey to find out what the NSW quad majority want.

Len...

1) We cant offer a place to ride at the moment but len u no im working hard on that one...For insight I had a meeting with council last week and the final draft is about to be released for the park...speed way will be the first to go in and after some networking at a council do I spoke to Jeffrey Rush and he is very keen to have us use the inner part of the flat track and part of the flat track in his off season, April till September.

On offer: 1) First to know about upcoming events....as you know yourself these are very hard to lock in due to lack of support..
2) Member only ride days...just recently we had a weekend down at Binacrombie bike park and if we could get the numbers I can book the hole park out just for quads and run some recreational events.
3) Club meetings to discuss the next stage of our proposel and were we are heading.....Shame we have had 3 and only four turned up...
4) Discounts, have tentively secured retail bike shops to give discounts to members, range from bike apperell to ute supplies.

2) Race and social meetings...need a venue and the numbers to support it...did you know that MA have quad riding making up a 3% of all dirt bike dicaplins..
3) Social meetings at stockton...check out the other forums riders cant justifie the $450 price tag for the privy.
4) A place to meet.....I have a venue that i can get for free and holds about 120 persons as for being central i think sydney is it that way its far those who would from down south and from the west and you northern boys its 1.5 to 2 hrs for every one.
5) a web site.... I admit its ordanary and the limit I have got is full no funds...its been running for 16 months and funded out of my pocket though this is about to change I hope...
6) The club is a non profit commitee club.

I had come close to secure a place were we would access for 5 times a year but due to lack of rider commitment I let it go....

The club is working as one in a club enviroment numbers count and people will listen these MX tracks and enduro days would be better of being approuched by a club who is affiliated giving that club promoting the event the reasurence that there members are law abiding quad riders
I have to date 86 names and numbers of quad risers seaking a place to race, ride, and for somewere to train there kids....if we dont stay as a club and help novices enter the sport or train kids (whom would be the next era of racers) we are as good as dead...

The ride park all we have to do is stay vigalant and patiant its been 16months another 16 is a walk in the park from were iv come from...
