Hey mate, unfortunately this one is going to be quads only as we are not allowed to run quads and bikes at the same time,we will be running more of these through the year and will be running quads certain days and bikes on other days though to try and help everybody.

Thanks Luke

My kid will not be able to attend this ride day as they will be in Sydney and don’t have quads any more (at one stage 2 kids and 5 90cc quads) --------- after this ride will you have a better idea as to witch junior classes we may be able to introduce to the QQRA race calendar?
As both my kids would like to get back onto quads but would need to be able to ride a track eg: Tivoli
My son is 9 almost 10 and is keen on a 125 typhoon and my girl is 13 and looking for a blaster
If numbers are low would 3 or 4 junior classes race at once to fill the field?

Any info would be appreciated as we are also keen to help get the kids out there and I know others that would also be interested

I don’t know much about the different classes but could say a modified 90cc 12 year old ride at the same time as standard 90cc 9 year old and at the end of the race just minus a percentage of the faster quad and older kids time to have a balanced full field

This would be a good topic for the next club meeting and I also believe advertising else where other than here (on forum) would be better as there is a lot of kids on quads at places like blackduck that wouldn’t know about this site ------------ any one week end you would see 5 to 10 kids on quads going at 100 mile an hour

Just my 2 cents and I would help out where needed if required

Thanks Daniel (keep up the good work)

I will be honest and tell you that my knowledge on junior Quad racing rules and regulations is very minimal but i am trying to get involved with it more and more,i am pretty sure there would of been junior classes at this years QQRA race series if they had the numbers,i am open to all ideas and will be doing what ever i can do to help the club as well,it has taken longer than we wanted to find somewhere to run schools and training days but now that we have some where that is intrested we will be advertising more and looking at other ways to have new people come along and try and get involved.

Hello Luke,

It is good that you are doing training days for the juniors, as we all know that it is the future of this sport. However, are you looking at doing some training days for the older generation that are looking to/already racing.

This may break the ice for the people that are looking at racing and feel that it is too hard or that they mighn't be good enough.

Cheers

Hope you've got plenty of time Luke, jackass and friends could be quite a challenge Laughing
Chris, if you get a chance mate have a talk to the club up there. Apparently they are interested in having quads at the mx track.

Hello JB83,

You are right, Maybe Beechy could have his hands full. You what they say about teaching an old dog new tricks.

Any how, I have been in contact with the club, just so happens that I employ the track maintanence supervisor and they have advised that they would fit quads in at any club meet as they apparently don't need to change their supp regs to do this. Not sure but they would require the numbers. I see that you are kicking a$$ in the QQRC series. I was hopping to race in that series - even had the bike prepped - but haven't found the time. I have however entered for the Thunder Cross series with the first race not far away now. Don't think I will be able to last the full race but will see how we go. It will be good to catch up. Should give you a call as the date gets closure. I should still have your number.

Cheers from the

JACKASS

hang on a sec there young fella, i too am holding an adults only race craft and bullshit lesson also. I charge $500 an hour and guarantee to teach the students nothing. Being in the presence of such an athlete such as myself should be enough for any aspiring atv racer. Forget beechey, he's a no one. Who is he anyway? Never herd of him !

foursmacks....

p.s save me a spot hey luke?
