Dropped into a local kawa dealer 2 have a look around & out front they had the new KFX 450r, first impressions were nice wide front A-arms, all alloy frame, sat on it & it was very comfortable. The handlebars were perfectly positioned aswell, seemed very low 2 the ground to. 1 interesting feature i noticed & u can c it in the pic, is the black & green arnt 1 peice, the black parts can b removed via screws which i thought was interesting but wasnt sure y they were designed that way. Its an all new bike, there were no parts that looked like they were passed ova from the KFX400/LTZ. the shop guy has this particular KFX 4 sale at $12999.....all in all a pretty good machine

Talking to local dealer and he was saying that if you use the throttle when starting that will cause it not to start which makes sense seeing its fuel injected. Sounds sweet with spark arrester out, very very quick throttle response. He flicked the throttle and no delay it reved staight up.

I rode one yesterday at our fun day- completly stock apart from the tyres. It felt very light in the steering, but didn't really do much for me, but i know it would be a lot better once lowered. Very hard seat like all race bikes. . . It seems like a lot of money to pay for one though
