We have done a bit of dyno work on my sons LTR, runs a Dasa with an adapter to the std header ( races production class and cannot change the header ) but funny thing when we dyno tested it, the std header hardly drops any peak H.P. over Dasa header, but has almost 20 % more torque at 2/3 RPM, just where you want it for MX.

At the moment i am running a monster slip on with a stock air filter,cb and lid off. The bike is good bottom end and mid range and flattens out top. I havent put a pim on it yet but i will soon along with a pro filter. Power wise the bike is good but i wanted a heap more tourqe. What do you think about putting a fmf megabomb header on the slip on pipe i have.?? Just playing with i few ideas.

its not a bad pipe. If you want a cheap pipe to start then it is good. But i would like a pipe that has been tryed and proven like whitebrothers or yoshi etc etc. It gave the bike a heep more grunt over the stock pipe, plus it is realy well made.

I have a full Yoshi, full DMC and a Slip on DMC. I think both the DMC's give about the same power and the full Yosh just lacks a bit down low

hay smitty. friend of mine has a full yoshi and i have riden his bike and it just lacked bottom end and on the dunes my bike seems to pull away. His
bike runs a pro filter and mine is running a stock filter so weather mine is thumping out a bit more torque. I have ordered a fmf megabomb header to see how that runs and then i will put carbon pro on the back of it. hopefully that will produce a fair bit of torque with out going in to the engine.

Most shelf pipes are close to the same . only some more relaible in Holding together.

Special build performance pipes Like DASA ,Rossier and Sparks produce more and better power across the board ,in that order ,depending on combination, but it is generally the case of at least 1-2 Hp and better torq for around the same money. and under $1000 AUD for a full system .
