Sorry huge, go if you want to but maybe some of us like minded Trail riders should plan to go to the next meeting and get Jaden to put trail riding on the agenda. See if we can get the TR division off the ground, but to do it we need a numbers.

maybe the guy(s )raging how boreing the meetings are could shed some light on what else the club can do to make it better before they fall asleep!. i think jaden does a good job when he organises(?) quad only days ,trail rides are great but there is alot of people that won,t risk it for the fines $$$$. hip hip hooray for jaden well done mate !

thats what i ment , poor bloke puts his heart into it and gets people raging mx . all i was saying was don,t be a fence sitter . hey if plans in the pipe line let people know and u might get some more help ?

im not really here (supposed to call Jaden back but just finished work and its late .

Anyway , what about an overnight trail ride at Manar Park one weekend.

We could make a date get everyone together for either the day or stay overnight and talk about what else we can do as well as get some great trail riding in.

I have heard negative feedback about Manar Park , but honestly, i think it is a great place with great facilities for "overnighting" and the trails and tracks provide a far better selection of riding than anywhere else ive been so far. And its legal.
The place has new owners as of two weeks ago and i think if we were to show our support we would get well looked after.

Anyway if u want a decent place to start ...i think its worth a go. I reckon we could get a dozen or so there without too much effort. Then a month later we could try somewhere else.

We dont need to go to a club meeting to make this happen , technology being what it is we can do it from our phones and computers.

Lets just create some ideas and make a calender of it.

I still reckon some website advertising on our bikes and trailers would be a good start. simple as .......www.ozatv.com -

Anyway , im keen for anything we can do to help.

I also agree that Jaden is doing a great job with the club, what we need is a "Jaden" clone to look after the Social riding. Hopefully between the lot of us we can find a few members that can get things off the ground.

Only time will tell.

Pro,

I would be keen for a trip to Manar but it will have to be after the Stockton trip.

Hi guys,

id personally like to thank all those on this thread that have supported me in my efforts with the club. i, unfortunately do everything myself and although that is fine, i do appreciate any moral support i can get. This year ive had support from John and Ang which is also appreciated.
It gets me down when all people do is whinge about what we should do or should not do, and then when i say to those people "why not help us out?" they fade away. we do have our sand trip coming up and it really is the best ride of the year so i invite everyone to come along.(if you want to come please call me first)
As for club meetings, i encourage everyone to come along, things cant change without your help. YES YOU !
Not only do we talk quads, but we talk crap as well and have a drink and laugh. We also discuss important quad issues that effect all quad riders.
We have a 'say' in how quads are managed by motorcycling australia so it is important.
Most of all, the more numbers we have the more voice we have.
Please call me if you want to be involved, or, maybe ill see you at our next meeting?

Just to clarify but I dont believe the "whinge" comment was directed at you I am pretty sure that he was talking about other situations not this one. (thats just how I read it though)

If you are considering the enduro loop thing I believe you will get good support from riders including myself. It would be good to try and get together, maybe at Manar and discuss it over a few cold ones sometime soon.

We could also consider a day trip to Woodenbong as well (not to good for ProKiwi) I have been there several times and it's nice riding. Hound Dog knows all the tracks down there, I am sure I could tee him up.

Greg , no problem , il go to woddenbong ..... it cant be that far, The old diesel gets up and goes so shouldn't take that long

At least we are getting some Dialogue going here, sounds like there are a few keen to meet. Sounds like we have three possible rides already .
Manar Park, Woddenbong, Huge's Enduro.


Jaden ... can u list all the quad members in your next Newsletter with a contact ph or email. Also maybe note those who are interested in Trails or racing. That way we can contact others directly if we have a ride happening or want to hook up with other likeminded folk.

We used to do this in NZ ATV club and it was very helpful.


How about Manar in June and Woddenbong in July ??
