Hello,

I'm scripting a music video, and would like to include a brief shot of one, two, or a troika of ATVs towing a 4WD. I want to do this on a treeless red-dirt road or plain in outback NSW.

First, because I know almost nothing about ATVs, I'd be interested in your opinions of how this could be done most easily and safely.

It's OK if the 4WD uses its engine to either get things moving or keep things moving, with a retractable tow rope like a Tiger Tail to keep things looking taut. But is there then a risk of the 4WD suddenly slowing and tipping the ATVs back? Would it be better for the ground to be flat or slightly uphill?

And although I'd like the look of an arc of three ATVs doing the pulling, does this make things much trickier to do nicely and safely, in spite of the extra towing force?

Second, if some configuration turns out to be feasible, are there any forum members who would like to make it happen by riding their bike in the shot, or know of someone who may be interested? My timing is pretty flexible, as is the location, as long as it's red and almost treeless.

This is just a personal project rather than a big company shoot, but I would pay what I hope would be a reasonable amount for the participation of bikes and riders.

If you can bring a tux or nice suit, there's a second shot you can appear in as well. Cool

Mark
