Hi Guys

I am in the market for a new pair of handlebars for my Raptor 700. Would love to get some anti vibe bars or an anti vibe mount but these are really outside my budget. I would like to get some fat bars like the Renthal Twin walls and the trail tech billet mount , but are these really going to be any better than a cheaper pair of 7/8" aluminum bars and the stock mount? The difference in price is around $110 and I am wiling to pay that if the bars are going to be better (eg less vibration) , but I wont pay that just for bling.

Thanks
Steve

I suppose this suggestion could be a bit off topic...
But check out Flexx Bars. Most quad racers run them. I've been running them on all quads since 2008 and swear by them. You get the suspension advantages plus a lot of adjustability.
Give QuadSquad a ring.

Id love to get the flexx bars but they are way out of my budget Sad Even looked at some anti-vibe mounts but at $150 - $250 (not including the bars) they are also outside what I can spend.

Stick to a set of 7/8 Renthal bars mate , unless you are a serious race you would not notice the difference anyway.

I have Raptors with both Flexx and 7/8 Renthals and I don't notice any difference to the way they feel or affect my arms ....

Save the bucks .

I have fat bars with anti vibe risers and I'm very happy with the set up. The anti vibe risers do three things..

Obviously they are bar risers, and obviously they help minimise vibration, but they also allow for more adjustment back and forth which is also very handy to get the right set up for - tall rider - short rider etc:

To compare with fitting a longer stem or Flexx bars, I don't see how you can go passed the ROX RISERS

Thanks guys, seeing that I am just a casual rider and dont race I'll just go the 7/8" bars. The nicer stuff can wait until I have some more $$$

The ROX risers are definitely on my shopping list, seems like they do the same job as flexx bars but are a lot cheaper

there's no real reason to replace your bars if your not going to flex bars, unless there bent that is. save up untill you can afford flex bars, you will love them. . renthel etc dont do anything your std bars won't do except not bend in a bigger stack maybe

Lone star anti vibe stem with a set of pro tapers or renthals is the way to go
