Hi
Does any out there run ODI style lock on grips and full wrap around hand guards, the type that run a locking pin into the end of handle bars
If yes, did you have to mod anything
Planning for my next big order

After going over the bars of my raptor last year I had a scratch and bruise on the back of my hand and a sore wrist from my arm being stuck between the clutch lever and hand guard as I went over. I only have the plastic Power Madd type hand guards.
I cringe now when I see quads with those wrap around type of guards. (Bark Busters etc)
I don't recall where I read it, but I remember reading somewhere that the hand guards that loop around into the end of the bars, like Bark Busters, are not allowed on quads in some events because if there is a roll over, or end to end, there is the possibility of getting your arm caught.
Two wheelers need them because they break levers and fingers all the time.
Just my two cents worth. _________________ Cheers,

I have broken both of my wrists with bark busters on a quad, not worth it.

depends on the riding you do. if its lots of bush stuff than bark busters are a must cause they save your hands but they are not really needed if you're only racing

Hand guards are good when you are racing to stop the roost off the other bikes, just not the ones that rap around to the bar ends.
