Yup another I'm a dairy farmer from Taranaki currently tucked up on the southern slopes of Mt Taranaki. Married with 3 kids (18 mths to 11 years) I've been farming and riding quads for 20 years now and currently own a 08 350 Grizz for work. Its not a big bike but I've always said that I won't buy one that I can't tip over on my own (just in case I do something stupid). My 11 year old son has a 09 90cc Yamaha raptor that he uses around the farm and for the odd flat track ride. The last one in the stable is a WazzaTRX300FW My wife wouldn let me spend money on a trail or sports atv soi built 1 It is a 2002 TRX300 4wd that was on the way to the wrecker. I rebuilt the lower chassis, made new lower a arms, widend the wheel track, remade the muffler, trimmed all unesccessary plastic and carriers and beefed the suspension (kawi klf300 rear shocks in the front and a yamie wr250 in the rear) I used it as a 4x4 until my son got his raptor. Bit hard to show him how to ride a 2wd on a 4wd. Get out on the odd trail ride and flat track ride but hasnt been out this season. I've bee hanging around an American forum for a few years and have just found this one _________________ Tremble with fear - I've had an idea |
