If im running 15 tooth front and 38 tooth rear sprocket with 20 inch rear tyres what will my estimated top speed be??

Also what if the rear is a 36 tooth?

So will be great if people can help me out and let me know! Wanting to know if either of these will be ok for finke?

Cheers James

What sort of bike? My YFZ with that gearing, tyres and the rest pretty much standard was doing 128km/h and that is a GPS'd speed.

How are we suppose to help you with no idea of what quad you have?
Here's a guide in regards to changing sprockets.

I take it you are asking about changing your gearing for the Finke event, Mosko111?
Plenty of experienced desert enduro riders should be able to help you out.

My 2011 stock raptor with only the speed limiter mod does 136kmh.
I only weigh 65kg.
I think you were going faster then 130km maybe the gearing on the wr450 was throwing the speedo out.
You should be able to get 138kmh+ with your mods and stock gearing.

Have fun representing the raptors and please tell me you have a helmet cam so we can all see the action.

Nope, 136kmh was with the stock electronic speedo on stock tyres and I still had a bit left.
I am running in my bike at the moment and didn't want to hold full throttle for to long.
You should be pulling 140+ with your mods.
I checked on raptor forums and 140+ is average for a three mod raptor.

It's just a standard bike. I am a feather weight though only around 65kg.
I clocked that speed on a straight bitumen road.
I had only a little bit left but it was time to back off i guess maybe 138kmh absolute top speed.
But who knows how accurate the factory speedo is.

oops, my bad my speedo is set in MPH and 80mph is only 128 not 136kmh.
But with a three mod you still should be able to get 140kmh

15/38 on 20inch rears will be plenty, dont over gear the crap out of it as all you will achieve is bad fuel economy in the soft sand and bull dust.
