Just the ol' polarized lenses work the best in the dunes/sand. _________________ (PeteW's missus)

I agree..
I got told yellow for the dunes aswell, then got told blue lenses..
so i went with blue lenses when i went to stockton at xmas, didnt do much
As ashnery said some of the white washes you just dont see..
and i recommend the evening/arvo rides.. you can see everything..on the dunes..
and there's nothing cooler then riding on the dunes at night with the headlights on.. getting to the top and not beinng able to see the bottom
what a rush.. _________________ Sold -06 ltr450

Thanks for the replies , but still no definate answer on the best eye protection.I have the best mako's sunglasses as well , but still not happy- especially cleaning the sand and salt all the time and wrecking em .Does any one have an opinion on the light sensitive lens from scott as a option .The only other thing would be looking at snow goggle lens . |

When I 1st got my quad all I had was apair of Scott yellow lens snow goggles , they were great in flat light, wish I still had 'em, I'v got the Progrip light sensitive ones now but I really can't see any difference in bright or dull conditions, with the sun directly overhead nothin is gonna give you perfect vision though. _________________ The term "Foolproof" seriously underestimates the ingenuity of Fools.
