This link got sent to me by a fellow quad rider in Germany.
http://www.quadcenter-sottrum.de/fahrertraining.php
I used google to translate it, I found the standard and levels of rider training interesting compared to what happens home in Aus.
BTW, legally on roading their bikes is NO Problem, but off roading is.
The various ins and outs are covered by other links on this web page.
Car license, Helmets, Suitable foot-wear and clothing, first aid kit and safety triangle are compulsory. Further protective clothing is mandatory.
The bikes are also modified to suit legislation. Our mate rides 10,000km annually on road, and maybe one weekend a year at especially approved off-road riding areas. _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.
Notice that crazy in the bureaucrats. |
