can i ask why u want to increase the rev limiter on the ds 450 they rev very well now have u cut the pink wire?? that makes a little difference

rev limiter is there for a reason over revving the motor will end in a grenade under your nuts if you wanna go faster gear it taller other wise it wont go at all

Not answering your question, but maybe a point of interest...
std rev limiter is 10,200rpm.
you'd be surprised how many revs you DONT use.

My DS450's spend
40% of their time under 4000rpm
82% of their time under 6000rpm
97% of their time under 8000rpm

and only 3% of all the riding i've done between 8000rpm and the 10200rpm rev limiter eek

Get your dealer to print out your run profile, you'll be amazed.

Great.
Not many big differences but a few little refinements that stand out when you ride a 2010 and get in to the fine tuning.
Particularly in the minor rear shock changes.
Engine feels the same, although this one seems to idle a bit lower.

I'm leaving the 2010 a lot more out of the box standard and it's working out well.

I'd love to hear your flat track modifications and settings Smile
